ROMEO PROJECT was created under Victor Entertainment and Yamaha A&R. First mysterious teasers were released in April of 2012. First mini-showcase “Romeo - 1st contact” took place on 12th of July 2012. Fans had a chance to hear first of his songs - “Give Me Your Heart” and “Tonight’s The Night”.
The official music video for “Give Me Your Heart” was released in August of 2012.
On the 23rd and 24th of August, through ustream channel, Romeo revealed short fragments of another songs (“君を、守りたい (Kimi wo mamoritai)”, “Lover’s Spirit” and “Hide and Seek Love”), which were released later.
On the 5th of September 2012, Romeo releases his first single, called “Give Me Your Heart” (available in 3 versions). 29th of September is the date of “Romeo - 2nd contact” (second mini-showcase), but fans doesn’t have a lot of time to cool down as the second single “Tonight’s The Night” is released a month later (31th of October) and is available in 5 versions.
On the 18th of December took place another Romeo’s live show. This time it was longer, and open to a larger number of fans. A day later, on the 19th of December Romeo’s full album “Midnight Theatre” was released (3 versions). It contains 14 songs, moreover, one of the album versions contains additional DVD “2nd contact” as well.
19-23rd of March were the days when japanese fans had another chance to see Romeo (and JungMin) during Zepp Park JungMin/Romeo Theatrical 2013 Tour. There were in total 8 concerts in 4 cities of Japan (4 shows of Park JungMin, and 4 of Romeo).
In the end of may 2013 Romeo Project was officially suspended for some time, although Romeo himself, in the meantime, has been seen in South America and Europe (this one on January/February with the tour called 'Reverso Tour'). At that moment, He has only “fell asleep”, just to be awoken again near the end of 2014.
Preluded by the showcase in Tower Records (on 9th of November) Romeo's mini album "Alive" has finally seen the daylight on the 11th of November 2014. It was released in 4 different versions, and contains 5 new japanese songs and 5 korean version of these. This was the very first time for Romeo to sing in korean, not only in japanese.
Year 2015 brought another two releases describing ROMEO's soul. First one was "LAST NOTE", obviously released in 4 versions. Each of the mentioned consists of a CD with a single song and an instrumental version of it, and a 1/4 of two-year calendar, which is meant to guide ROMEO's followers through the rough time of solitude while his alter-ego, Park JungMin, serves his military duty.
12th of December brought 3 CDs of another mini-album, titled consecutively "Run Away", "FAITH" and "In The Forest", each of those including both, korean and japanese versions of the songs.
It is known that ROMEO has his secret special plans for 12.12.2016 and 7.07.2017. It's not a mystery though, that you will fall for him...for an eternity.
